BIG COLLAPSE IN CLIFTON FRIENDLY

Prestwich started the 2015 cricket season with a short trip to Clifton of the Central Lancashire League.

With the home side posting 158-8 from their 40 overs (Ryan Stanbury 3-46, Andy Bradley 2-41), Prestwich looked in total control at 74-1 from nine overs (Ryan Stanbury 69).

But an epic collapse saw the visitors crumble, losing 7 wickets for just 5 runs, as they went from 109-3 to 114 all out (Gareth Cross, Pro 7-33).

Andy Bradley’s side will look to put this loss behind them before their real business resumes with next Saturdays visit of Denton St Lawrence to The Heys.
