Prestwich CC are delighted to announce that we have secured the services of South African all-rounder Ryan Stanbury for the 2016 season.

Next season will be Ryan’s third with us and he has gone from strength to strength since joining at the beginning of 2014.

Last season Ryan took 39 wickets and amassed 736 runs including the fastest century in Lancashire County League history.

Already this season the destructive South African has taken 38 wickets and scored 641 runs, breaking his own fastest hundred record just last week with a 39 ball blitz against reigning LCL champions Denton St Lawrence.

On signing, Stanbury said “I’ve loved every minute since arriving at Prestwich and my game is evolving all the time here. I’m extremely happy to re-sign for another season at this progressive and ambitious club”.

Prestwich captain Andy Bradley commented “Signing Ryan again for next year has been high on our list of priorities as he is such a talented destructive player. We know that there were other clubs sniffing around for Ryan’s signature so we are obviously pleased that he opted without hesitation to stay with us”.
