STANDING STILL IS NOT AN OPTION

As we have mentioned we now really close to a formal announcement on the final phases of Project Spacse and I am hopeful of confirmation by the early part of June. A massive project with a positive conclusion in sight.

My personal and ongoing motto for this club is simple ‘Standing still is not an option’.

I know I keep banging on about this but growing and providing bigger and better facilities while reaching out to other sports is the only Future!

I am now looking at plans to make us a 12 month a year club (in sporting terms) with options in Football and maybe Athletics (Running Club) etc.

So far I have been supported by members and I really hope this continues, we all must look positively at developing the club for the future and build on the original success of selling ‘poor’ land in the early 1990’s to the proven beneift of the club as it stands today.

When members or club committee’s are examining these new options they need to look at the bigger picture! Lets continue to grow the club and with it, confirm its future – together!

Finally, can I thank all our members who have to date contributed to the current scheme in terms of donations and loans. Current promises and actuals take my estimates to around £30k which is quite fantastic.
