Tom Bradley

Tom Bradley passed away on Monday evening at the grand old age of 94. All his friends at PCTBC would like to offer their condolences to Phil, Carole, Andy and Erica for their loss.

He was a great character who I used to enjoy a chat with on a regular basis. He was a lifelong United fan and he used to give me plenty of stick.

I went to visit Tom just before Christmas and he was in excellent form and well up to speed with the reds progress. It was a delight to spend some time with him!

He claimed failing eyesight during his later years but it never detracted from his personal selection of the largest pint pot available at PCTBC. He demanded it be kept in a safe place under the Bar. He filled it regularly with mild beer while he was watching his grandson play cricket.

My personal memory of Tom will be that but also with his walking stick in his hand relaying stories from the past.

Rest in peace Tom.
