New season, New players, new equipment what could go wrong?

Well the new domino set had a “wrong Un” and rather than run the risk of being accused of cheating We conceded the 1st game, which had Bob Hinchcliffe making his debut. 71 – 91 loss
new pairing of skipper Army and the hammer quickly made amends and were in cruise mode to win 91 -74
The camerons, fresh from their jollies struggled to a 79 -91 loss – must be the jet lag!
another debutante trevor williams and the player of the year bradders put up a brave fight but went down 85 -91 loss
last up was the star player from last season the hammer & wendy cameron and restored a little pride to win 91 – 86
result lost 2 – 3 so 2 pts to 5 pts

Darts
Showboat stu suffering from the shivers limped unimpressive to a 2- 1 win though still managed to score 3 tons & 140
player of the year bradders followed suit with another 2 -1 win with 2 tons & 78 checkout
Shock of the night – John “unbeaten” davies lost his match to 0 -2 to the fairer sex (no further comment needed without my brief )
new boy ollie was unlucky but perhaps the nerves got the better of him and lost 0 – 2 also
another new boy Chris Williams put up a fight scoring a ton but lost 1 -2
up next Capt nemo (aka Jon Army) flew out of the blocks with a 160, followed by 81, 60 ,100 leaving 120 after 12 darts, dart 13 hit the treble 20, then disaster, single1 followed by treble 19 leaving double 1 for the first leg ….. yep you guessed it it took nemo a further 72 darts to hit it!!!! – lost 1 – 2
young nick had a poor game by his standard lost 1 -2
