DARTS & DOMS WEEK 10 AWAY TO THE ROYAL OAK

Wednesday February 2nd 2011 | Social

Following our heroics with the league leaders and now past the half way stage we were looking to continue our form and make amends for the defeat at home on the opening day of the season.
This week’s report comes courtesy of guest writer Dessie O’connor who was unceremoniously dropped without warning!!!! the comments within “” and in blue are dessie comments the extra are mine

Fat fingers davies “ Steady start, always looked comfortable revenge is sweet” had 3 tons won 2 – 0 which also included a bust score of 121!

Show Boat Stu Cameron “Beats whatever is put in front of him usually a blind paraplegic” had a couple of tons taking his total for the season to 30 ton plus scores won 2 -0 without breaking sweat

Big Bird Bradders up next “hit the board hard and hammered the opposition, 180!” played very well had a couple of tons and a oooooooooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnneeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunnnnnnnnnnnndddddddddddddddrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeddddddddddd & eeeeeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiiiiigggggggghhhhhhhhttttttttyyyyyyyy 180 – which no one saw! won 2 – 0 and had a 20 dart leg

Baby face assassin nick carter up next “down by a lot, in the first leg. Nick pulled his trousers up and ran out 2 -0 not much more to add
with the first four games going our way 2 – 0 and the match won now we playing for bonus points could it continue?

Nope spoke too soon!!!
up stepped capt Nemo -Jon Army – “didn’t start well, dropping the team favorite “des” didn’t get better lost 0 – 2″ playing with new darts which clearly didn’t suit him, indeed these were later sold in disgust, had more than enough chances and plenty of time to win the game but again his double trouble came back to haunt him. in fact for a regular ton plus scorer only hit treble 20 once! – sorry des will think twice before dropping you again………… you will still be dropped

Steve no name or cant spell walmsley up next “steady win never in doubt, solid 2 – 0” steve literally towered over his opponent, his 6ft 3 frame against a 4ft short person was never in doubt, scoring steady 60’s and 3 tons to boot

last but no means Chris hasting wiliams “A couple of stand out points in chris game, sadly on the other side of the sheet lost 0 -2 “ cant had anymore I as playing doms

8Th Man Dessie “Could ‘o, Would’o, Should ‘o, sadly we will never know!!!” – enough said

Many thanks Dessie for your contribution to the report, if any other players wish to take up the challenge I will glady insert on here
match result won 5 – 2 (+2 bonus points) reverse of the opening fixture.
