DARTS DOMS & CRIB WEEK 5 HOME V BEEHIVE

Sunday October 30th 2011 | Social

Last week we were at home against the beehive from Whitefieldand it is fair to say we were far from Buzzing, in fact we we’re positively simmering! Never quite getting to boil
So needless to say the report will be short, no point dwelling on the past.
Though on the upside we had a couple of new players for the doms & crib in the ever ageing Gareth Moore complete with his old man’s cardigan on and Peter Brassington hoping to put in a polished performance.

Darts
John fat fingers Davies up first and was awesome in the early stages, at one point he was down to 141 after only 18 darts, having scored two tons and 6 consecutive 60s but the wheels well truly came off and John could not finish, indeed, I even offered to buy him a double from the bar, but he still mist out!. Lost.

Capt nemo up next and slowly getting back to some chipped in with 3 tons and was some 300 in front, but another who could not finish and the game lasted for about 20 mins. Lost

centurion up next looking to keep his impressive run on winning on all fronts did not disappoint had 3 tons of his own and won comedy table in the end and what was to prove the only winner on the night.

Baby face nick was well below par .lost

Chris “Hastings “Williams up next and another to struggle. Lost

Dessie OConnor up next and actually played very well with 2 tons & 2 140 but another who not get over the finish line with poor double throwing. Lost

With players failing to show without prior notice or reason is quite frankly very disappointing and you should be ashamed of yourselves – I won’t name them, so I was forced to play the hammer, which did ok and did not let himself or the team down, unlike others! Lost
Result lost 1 – 8 thanks Andy for being the only winner we all love you xxxxx

The debutants up next and lipped to a miserly 70 – 91 loss
