How our juniors struck gold in the new GMCL

Today we skip back four years to the 2016 season to herald success for one of our junior teams in the club’s first season in the Greater Manchester Cricket League (GMCL).

Our Under 11s became the inaugural winners of the GMCL Cup in a thrilling final against Clifton U11s winning by 14 runs – described as a “brilliant team effort against a talented Clifton side and provided a spectacle fitting of any final”.

Note to all juniors of all ages:
In the coming days, we aim to post the first in a series of short practice videos that our junior members can try their hand at, and take part in at home, whilst we are still in lockdown and observing social distancing.
