MEMBERS NOTICE

by | Monday March 29th 2021 | Club

Today is the first day of the beginning of the Covid lockdown re-opening plans. I want to take this opportunity to welcome back members of all our sections and outline how the club will operate its clubhouse procedures in line with the regulations.

The clubhouse will not open to members until the 12th April, when we will operate an outside bar. The only facilities open will be the toilets and the patio bar will operate as it did last year. The management of social distancing is paramount and members must exercise caution. The hours that the bar will run will be announced shortly.

The next important milestone will be the 17th May when the club will open as normal but restrict entry to a maximum of 30 people at any one time. Again, social distancing will be so important. All the facilities will be open as usual but under the controlled restrictions highlighted. At this time, we think the bar will operate a full and normal schedule in line with previous years.

During the first two milestones the bar can only accept Debit Card payments.

Hopefully the final milestone will be the 21st June. If the Government confirm this date we will open with no restrictions and operate normally including accepting cash payments.

In line with the Government restrictions, you can, from today, play your various sports under the protocols set our by your sports governing bodies.

It would of course be very helpful if all members pay their subscriptions as soon as possible and remember the completion of a form is mandatory . Card payments will be preferable.

There will be offers available on the bar for all members during the first week of opening from the 12th April.
