Prestwich collected maximum points in their final fixture of 2021. The victory lifted Prestwich up to 10th in the LAL Prem with a resounding victory at struggling Mostonians.

Prestwich took the lead on 20 minutes. Wheaton’s pressing forced a turnover, the wide man advanced and delivered a cross towards Holden. His effort was blocked but Rafael Straszewski was on hand to slot in the opener. The goal saw Prestwich gain a firm grip on the game with the energetic Hill becoming increasingly involved in the middle with Gibson and the returning Rapacz keeping things tight at the back.

Prestwich would go into the half with a three-goal lead. Holden slotted home the second and Steven Charles tucked in the third which he deserved after his first half efforts.

Mostonians responded after the break pulling one back on 65 minutes. But Prestwich were still creating chances. Straszewski put the comeback to bed slotting home a beautiful low cross by Hill. Harvey Rhodes volleyed home a fifth before Charles proved clinical again to make it six.

Prestwich return to action in the new year on January 15th.
