MEMBERS LUNCHES RETURN

Tuesday October 27th 2020 | Social

You will all be aware that we have during the past winter periods held several lunches/meals. During the lockdown we are going to organise meals alongside football events on our SKY and BT channels.

We intend to trial one this Sunday for the Utd v Arsenal game at 430pm.

Given that this occasion passes in line with the Covid Regulations and our members act accordingly, we intend to run quite a few through this period. Sadly our normal chef Nick is not operating so we have asked the catering staff from Sedgley Park RUFC to provide meals with table service.

We can cater for a maximum of 40 members at £5 per head. In addition, the club will subsidise the event by providing a free drink to all attendee’s (whether a pint, glass of wine, bottle of beer etc).

At this stage we are gauging interest and I need a response by Thursday PM. Please confirm your interest by either emailing brian@prestwichsport.com or texting 07850 947 534.

If we get the intended numbers and it goes ahead it must be pre-booked with payment on the day by debit card. It is intended to open the bar at 3pm and the meal served from 3.30pm. The bar will stay open throughout the game and the club will close at 8pm. This a strictly Members Only event and nobody else without a confirmed meal will be allowed to attend.

The current regulations including social distancing, family bubbles etc must be adhered to. There will be table service provided for both the food and drinks. The food that will be served will include steak & ale pie, cheese & onion pie or meat & potato pie, all served with mushy peas and chips. The caterers will provide the essential tableware.
